The French Cinema Club offers a unique way to explore French culture and cinema while improving your language skills. Watch iconic French films, deepen your understanding of the language, and expand your vocabulary through an engaging, immersive experience.
Objective:
– Watch and analyze a French film at your own pace, from home.
– Expand your vocabulary and deepen your understanding of French language and culture.
– Join a 1-hour weekly online group discussion (via Google Meet).
How does it work?

6 Weeks – 6 Films, 6 Sessions
Each week, we suggest a film along with a cultural and linguistic worksheet.

Individual Viewing at Home
You watch the film using your own streaming account (e.g., Netflix, Arte.tv, France.tv).
Some films may not be available in every region.
⚠️ It is each participant’s responsibility to ensure they are using their streaming platforms in accordance with their terms of use.

Weekly Group Discussion
Every Monday at 4PM (Paris time), we meet online to discuss the film:vocabulary, expressions, cultural or historical context.

Intermediate to Advanced Welcome
Subtitles are encouraged if needed.
Listening is just as valuable as speaking!
